What can you say about U2 that hasn’t been said before. They’re legends. Amazing show even if it is totally choreographed down to the last detail. These were taken at the HP Pavilion in San Jose in April 2001. If you want to use these images then please read my photo use rules first. Enjoy. Visit the Official U2 Website.

When I saw Disturbed open up for Godsmack and STP in November 2000, I really didn’t know who they were but really enjoyed them. So why only two shots? This is what happens when a band thinks its really cool to play in almost complete darkness. What a bummer. If you want to use these images then please read my photo use rules first. Enjoy. I shot CSNY at the November 2000 Bridge School Benefit. Could they still hit the falsettos? Almost. Does it matter? Not really. It’s always a pleasure to watch this legendary lineup in action. I shot the Foo Fighters at the November 2000 Bridge School Benefit. David Grohl is an talented composer with incredibly strong pop sensibilities. After all these years I wonder if Nirvana would have been as successful without him. If you want to use these images then please read my photo use rules first. Enjoy. I saw Poe at the Shoreline at one of the Bridge School Benefits and she, as well as the whole band, were a joy to shoot. Photogenic, theatrical and great interaction with her band and the audience. The first time I saw Pearl Jam they were opening up for Nirvana and the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the 1991 New Year’s Eve show at the Cow Palace. I had no idea who they were, but I was completely blown away. The next day I ran out and bought “Ten,” their debut album. If you want to use these images then please read my photo use rules first. Tori Amos is a photographers dream subject. She’s stationary, plays to the audience, and has generous stage lighting. You almost can’t get a bad shot. God bless her. If you want to use these images then please read my photo use rules first. Enjoy. Visit the Official Tori Amos Website.

I grew up on Led Zeppelin, Queen, Black Sabbath and Rush, so naturally it was very easy to make fun of Depeche Mode when I was in high school. Now that I’m older and less reactionary, I realize what incredible songwriters they are and enjoy their music. These were taken at a really great show at the Shoreline in August 2001. If you want to use these images then please read my photo use rules first. Enjoy. Visit the Official Depeche Mode Website.

What a great band to see live and what a great band to photograph. I’ve seen them twice and I’ve been impressed both times. These photos are from November 2000. If you want to use these images then please read my photo use rules first. Enjoy. Visit the Official Godsmack Website.

Alanis Morissette is simply awesome. No one can bend a multi- syllabic phrase like she does. While most songwriters stick to a standard lyrical structure, Alanis creates prose poems and forces them to fit her melodies in the most unexpected and brilliant ways. Unfortunately she moves around way too much, pacing the stage like a hungry cougar. Otherwise I would have had more usable images. These were taken in 2000.
